Shipping

- Do you ship your products in discreet packaging?
Absolutely. Our tattoos are shipped in plain white A4 envelopes that can not bend. There is no mention of Kink Ink, or the contents, on the outside of the envelope. 

- How soon will my order be shipped?
All orders placed before 12:00 EST will be shipped the same day (except for Sunday and US national holidays). All orders placed after 12:00 EST will be shipped the next day.

- By what method will you ship my order? 
We use a mix of shipping carriers for domestic and international shipping. For domestic orders we use the following carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, GLS, VEHO.

- How long will my order take to arrive?
Within the USA orders typically arrive within 3 to 5 days. Internationally, depending on the country, within 10 to 20 days. 

- Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Yes! But please note that our envelopes are A4 sized and can not be bent (to protect your tattoos!). So if your PO BOX can not accept envelopes of this size, it may be returned to us.

Billing

- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards from all the major providers, including American Express and Discovery.

- What will appear on my credit card statement?
A payment by KINKDOTINK will appear on your credit card.

- Is it possible to cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel, please email us immediately after placing an order and we'll do our best to stop it being shipped. 

- Are my credit card details safe with you?
We never receive your credit card number ourselves. Our payment processor and webstore host, Shopify.com, keep your credit card details secure. We do not have the ability to charge you more than you agree to at checkout.

Privacy

- Do I need to give you my address?
Yes, and no. Obviously we need somewhere to send your order, but it doesn't have to be your home address. All orders are sent in discreet packaging and we can ship to PO Boxes, hotels, offices and more.

In the USA you can take advantage of a free post locker service called GoPost and in the UK the Royal Mail Post Office will accept and hold packages for free under a service called Poste Restante

- Do I need to give you my real name?
No we can ship to a pseudonym. But take note that if your package is returned to your mail office and requires you to collect it, you may be expected to show ID that matches the name on the package.

Returns

- Can I return my order?

Yes, we accept returns for USA orders. We do not support international returns at this time.

You can return any unused products for a full refund. This means any product not removed from the protective plastic cover. Products that have been opened and/or cut, can not be returned.

Tattoo Application and Removal

- How do I apply a tattoo?
Instructions are included with each tattoo. But the process is very simple. Remove the tattoo from the plastic bag. Peel off the protective plastic cover. Place the tattoo so that the design is flat against the skin. Place a wet towel on the back on the tattoo and hold firmly for 30 seconds. Once the tattoo is soaked you can peel away the paper and the tattoo will be applied to the skin.

- Can I remove a tattoo immediately? 
There are 3 common liquids used to remove a tattoo and they remove at different speeds. Acetone (nail polish remover) will dissolve and remove the tattoo immediately. Spirits (40%+) and rubbing alcohol (70%+) will remove the tattoo within about 30 seconds - simply douse a kitchen towel in the alcohol and then hold down on the tattoo for about 30 seconds. Let the alcohol dissolve the tattoo then gently wipe away (there should be no need to rub harshly and redden the skin).

- How long do tattoos last?
This really depends on the skin type and the position of the tattoo. 1 to 3 days is typical for most people, whereas some skin types see 7 days or more. To prolong the length of time the tattoo lasts make sure to avoid: hair, sweat, skin that creases (i.e at joints) and friction (i.e tight clothes or body parts rubbing).

- Will there be any marks on my skin after the tattoo is removed?
No. When removing the tattoo you should dissolve it with alcohol first, then gently rub. Do not rub so hard as to redden the skin.

Acrylates Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Petrolatum, Linium, Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Iron Oxides, Blue 1 (CI 42090), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Yellow 6 (CI 15985), Red (CI 15850, Titanium Dioxide (CI 72891).

- Is Kink Ink vegan and animal cruelty-free?
Yes, always have been, always will be.
